Mungkin Anda yang dari luar kota Bandung ada yang ingin tau kuliner apa saja sih yang bisa ditemui di Bandung, yang tentunya asli dari Bandung. Maka dari itu sekarang kami bahas beberapa Wisata Kuliner Ciri Khas Bandung yang bisa menjadi referensi Anda ketika sedang singgah di kota Bandung.

Kuliner adalah hasil olahan yang berupa masakan. Masakan tersebut berupa lauk-pauk, makanan (penganan) dan minuman. Karena setiap daerah memiliki citarasa tersendiri, maka tak heran jika setiap daerah juga memiliki tradisi kuliner yang berbeda-beda. Marilah kita simak beberapa Wisata Kuliner Bandung:

1. Batagor

Batagor (singkatan dari bakso tahu goreng) adalah makanan tradisional khas Jawa Barat yang dibuat dari tahu berbalut tepung lalu digoreng.

2. Karedok

Karedok atau keredok adalah makanan khas daerah di Indonesia. Karedok dibuat dengan bahan-bahan sayuran mentah antara lain; ketimun, tauge, kol, kacang panjang, daun kemangi, dan terong. Sedangkan sausnya adalah bumbu kacang yang dibuat dari cabai merah, bawang putih, kencur, kacang tanah, air asam, gula jawa, garam, dan terasi.

3. Lotek

Lotek hampir sama dengan pecel, yakni makanan berupa rebusan sayuran segar yang disiram dressing berupa sambal dicampur bumbu kacang. Keunikannya, sebagai bahan sambal di samping kacang seringkali ditambahkan tempe dan dalam bumbunya ditambahkan terasi, gula merah, dan bawang putih. Secara umum, lotek terasa lebih manis daripada pecel. Selain itu, kalau sambal pecel bumbu sudah dicampur sebelumnya, untuk lotek bumbu baru ditambahkan ketika akan dihidangkan. Lotek dapat disajikan dengan lontong atau nasi hangat, disertai dengan kerupuk dan bawang goreng.

4. Surabi atau Serabi Bandung

Serabi kadang disebut srabi atau surabi merupakan salah satu makanan ringan atau jajanan pasar yang berasal dari Indonesia. Serabi serupa dengan pancake (pannekoek atau pannenkoek) namun terbuat dari tepung beras (bukan tepung terigu) dan diberi kuah cair yang manis (biasanya dari gula kelapa). Kuah ini bervariasi menurut daerah di Indonesia. Daerah yang terkenal dengan kue serabinya adalah Jakarta, Bandung, Solo, Pekalongan dan Purwokerto yang masing-masing memiliki keunikan tersendiri.

5. Peuyeum

Peuyeum adalah sejenis makanan khas yang terbuat dari singkong yang direbus dan diberi ragi sehingga menjadi terfermentasi.

Transport from Bandung to Hotel Arcadia Jakarta?

Q. I am travelling from Bandung to Jakarta specifically to Hotel Arcadia (Jalan K H Wahid Hasyim No 114 - 10340 - JAKARTA). Can somebody please advise me the best way to get there either by bus or by train? Thanks!

A. You could get the bus from BSM to Soekarna Hatta airport and then get a taxi from the airport- the bus is cheap BUT it would be expensive to get a taxi and would take quite a while with the traffic.

There are also trains from Bandung to Gambir station in Jakarta- use the Argo Gede if possible and book tickets in advance. From Gambir you can just get a Bluebird taxi.

The final option is Cipaganti Travel Bandung- they'll pick you up in Bandung and drop you off at the hotel. However this can take ages depending where you are on the pick-up/ drop-off list.

A. Indonesia is splendid, a vast green country full of unspoiled people, but I don't go there for only one reason:. The visas suck and they make people buy air tickets every month to fly out and renew... They are racist and behind the times as far as tourists generating greenhouse gas just to hang out somewhere for awhile.
Yes, too, it is kind of dodgy, because some of the people, especially in Jakarta, are lousy and will steal or mug people

How could I find a gorgeous, but less expensive clothing in Indonesia? Especially in Bandung?

A. There are a lot of factory outlets in Bandung, they are known to be the mecca of factory outlets (FO) in fact. You will see them pretty much everywhere, the biggest one being Rumah Mode (www.virtualtourist.com/travel/Asia/Indonesia/East_Java_Province/Bandung-1223569/Shopping-Bandung-BR-1.html ).
At the FO, you will find mostly Indonesian-made clothing that are made for export. Some of the famous brands like Gap, Banana Republic, Ambercombie and Fitch, among others can be found there. They are sold cheaper than the regular stores cause:
1. Discontinued models
2. Excess unsold inventory

Zara, a popular place for the young and the stylish is also something to consider. Their prices are not dirt cheap, but cheap enough to look good in. Zara can be found in famous Jakarta malls (plaza Indonesia, senayan city).

A. pasirkaliki and cihampelas are very close. i think with a car you will need only 3-5 minutes.

i think looking for a fashion you should come to jln.sultan agung and trunojoyo there are lot of distro .

but if you looking for a food. there is a lot in bandung.

for a map why don't ypu search in the bookstore or download from internet.

A. It's not wheelchair friendly,and it's not even pedestrian friendly,plus,they don't have a subway system,so it's not a good idea for a wheelchair person to go there.Indonesia is not pedestrian-friendly.The best places in Indonesia are indoors.

How much is a cab/transportation fare from Jakarta Airport to Bandung?

A. Do not use cab, it will cost you a fortune, try use Extrans it's a daily service from Jakarta to Bandung every 30min-1hour.

When your arrival at Soekarno Hatta airport check out the Extrans/Daytrans or similar services at the counter (near exit point), or you could also call first before your arrival. This services use mini-van to transport 10 passengers tops. So, it'd be quite comfy for you and your child, the fare range would be Rp. 75.000 - 90.000/seat

What is the business hours of pasar baru at bandung ?

A. The shops at Pasar Baru in Bandung usually closes at 5 pm. In busy time like Iedul Fitr and Christmas the shops open till dusk. The shop houses selling textile are located at Gang (alley) Tamim, behind Pasar Baru, they are selling whole sale textiles. Rental car including driver and fuel in Jakrta is between Rp300K to Rp500K (arround US$35 to US$55) per day, depending on the type of the car. Taxi fare to Tanah Abang, Jakarta will depend on from where you are departing.

Q. I am going on holiday to Bandung in about month and will be spending Christmas and new year there just wondering what are the best places to go for tourists, best shopping and best places to eat. and what are the best things to do for new Years?

A. Well, actually Bandung is not famous for its sightseeing spot but it's a perfect place to shop till you drop and if you like great food than you've come to the right place! There's a LOT of factory outlets in the city, mostly concentrated in Dago street and Setiabudi st. It's always packed with local tourists on the weekend so if you're staying for a month then I suggest you to shop on weekdays, that way you'll be more comfortable to look around and try things before you buy 'em. Delicious food are everywhere in the city, try The Kiosk in Dago Street (2nd floor of Pizza Hut building). It's some kind of a food court but the unique thing is they gather some of the best hawkers in the city in one place. There's a lot of good restaurants located on Upper Dago such as Congo, The View, Kampung Daun, etc and the view from there is amazing, you can see city lights from there. There's really a LOT of great foods here, I can't list em all otherwise I would end up writing an essay! Other sightseeing spots around the city is Kawah Putih in Ciwidey (about 3 hours from the city). And about what to do for New years if you're into clubbing then there's some happening clubs here like Mansion, Sixth Sense, Embassy, etc. Usually there'll be music concert held in Gasibu but there will be a lot of people there and pickpockets will have a feast there. If you like live music there's a concert hall called Sabuga, maybe there will be some shows and concert too. I'm not really an expert on sightseeing spots but if you want some tips on shopping and food here please feel free to DM me. I can go on and on about 'em. Hope you enjoy your trip to my city!

Is there a flight from Jakarta to Bandung?

Q. I have been told that all flights to Bandung have been cancelled because people prefer to travel by car. Is this true?

A. Gosh, I really need to correct/add the previous answers.

The flight Jkt-Bdg-Jkt is available with Deraya Arilines, a small airline operator (not even budget operator). You have to book directly to its office at Halim Perdana Kusuma airport, East Jakarta, because they don't have online connection with travel agents.

People preferred to travel by car/bus rather than by airplane because the condition of air and Bandung surroundings it's actually not that safe for flying. Bandung is mountainous and therefore is not a favorable route for pilots.

Try Cipaganti travel agent if you want to use travel-taxi to Bdg. Journey will take approximately 2 hours through highway.
